Online Giving

A simple way to support any area of the University is to make a gift online. Through our giving pages you can make a gift via credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express), Apple Pay, Venmo, PayPal, and Google Pay. Our giving platforms even allows you to use your Donor Advised Fund via DAF Pay to make an online gift directly from your DAF.

Canes for a Cause

Canes for a Cause is a crowdfunding initiative highlighting programs and projects that strengthen the student community. Each year, selected campaigns receive strategic direction and expanded outreach through the University’s alumni and donor networks to maximize impact. The submission site opens in summer, with campaigns running from fall through early winter. Questions regarding the process can be sent to canesgive@miami.edu.

Peer-to-Peer

Peer-to-peer is a year-round fundraising initiative which empowers student organizations to raise support for their cause by creating individual fundraising pages. Organizations can request a campaign via the "Create a campaign" page on our CanesGive website. Peer-to-Peer campaigns are led and run by student organizations through their respective networks with support and guidance from the Philanthropic Giving and Digital Initiatives team.
